v10.5.1 is actually the newest version available from conda-forge so Appveyor should also exercise the first branch of the if-loop. |

Fixes #31929. I have version-gated the fix because the
get_imagesfunction that the deprecation warning tells us to use is new in yesterday's release v10.9. I have v10.5.1 in my local dev environment and have confirmed the test passes with that.AI Disclosure
