Sweet! I’ve been thinking this needed attention.

Related comment: I think it might be hard to tell if dt=unspecified means dt=none (no timebase) or dt=True (unspecified timebase).

What do you think about calling it dt=True instead? Benefit: can unambiguously tell it is a discrete time system by reading it in your head.
